      Landline (Base Phone) –Telecommunication across the Globe, in just two decades, have witness, rapid developments, its latest avatars are available at damn cheap prices and we can put in this category Cell Phone & Internet to name few, due to affordable latest technology, telecommunication’s first generation service (base phone) loose its shine from the heart and mind of consumers and they find it costly and useless, but at the same time it is worth mentioning here that with penetration of internet increases’ it comes as a survivor for the base phone, because telephone in the premises is must to use internet connection, along with it considering customers distance from base phone & lot of disconnections from existing subscribers, department introduce lot of features bundles plans, which were in the past in the domain of value added services, mean to use them customers have to give additional money and slash the rent of base hone.

   Data Card /EVDO (Evolution Optimizer) – BSNL launch sometime back data card service which is helpful for the customers who are frequent travelers, they can use internet with data card, when they are on move, but the problem they had of slow speed because of low bandwidth, now BSNL also add in its armory EVDO with bandwidth (downloading, uploading and browsing) 3.1 Megabytes per seconds (mbps), subscriber can use internet on roaming with fast speed, no need to look for internet café.
       So, in today’s environment when telecommunication services migrate from status symbol to essential category and market is flooded with different players and scores of different packages, to choose, it’s the liabilities of user before hiring any service go for different offerings and I am sure nobody will find better service with affordable price, then from BSNL.
