63 Independence Day of India !

On 15th August, 1947 India got Independence from British rule, Thanks to the great leaders, martyrs and countless freedom fighters that we are breathing in the atmosphere of freedom and we have all the basic and fundamental rights to elect our government, raise our voices’ against any sin weather it’s social or political, have our constitution and a sovereign country. On 15th August, 1947 the stroke of the midnight brought with it a ray of new hope for India, as our first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru said the world was asleep but India awoke to life and freedom.
In history books below mentioned struggle for Independence of India is found -
The struggle for Indian independence began with the colonisation of India by Europeans. They came to India as traders but over the period of time they rose to power took control of Indian affairs. British occupied most parts of India whereas Portuguese and French also had their influence on few places the first uprising which is noted in the history of independence of India took place in 1857. This first war of Indian independence was termed as a mutiny by the British. Although not a success, this revolt sowed the seed for a new force, which was to take this struggle to its rightful end. As British oppression strengthened so did the urge to attain the freedom from it. This urge found voice in form of many great leaders such as Subhash Chandra Bose, Lala Lajpat Rai, Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Sukhdev, Khudiram Bose, Ram Prasad Bismil,Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel to name a few. These great patriots along with a lot unnamed freedom fighters sacrificed their lives for the cause of the nation. Independence from the British rule was the sole aim of their lives. This dream of millions of Indians was realised when finally India got freedom on August 15, 1947. The joy of independence brought along with it the grief of partition - The country was divided into two parts - India and Pakistan. Pakistan assumed August 14 as its independence day whereas August 15 was declared the independence day for India.
Independence Day Celebrations
Celebrated all across the nation with great enthusiasm, the day is marked with the Indian flag hoisting ceremony at Red Fort and Prime Minister's address to the nation. All the state buildings and structures of national importance are adorned with 'Tricolor'. In the evening, sky is dotted with hundreds of colorful kites symbolizing the freedom. The soaring kites in the sky also signify the soaring dreams of independent India which wants to attain great heights and give the message that sky is the limit.
As a citizen of Independent India we owe lot of our great leaders, freedom fighters and martyrs who sacrificed their lives so that coming generations born without slave of any ruler and every action of this great countries citizens take India towards new height and below is key achievements and milestones of Indian in different fields of society which make every Indian to feel proud of and foe to envy India’s progress -
Industries – Indian are achieving laurels in world’s different industrial production and industrialists not only have earn name and fame for themselves and their groups but they also registered India in the mind and hearts of other nations a respectable name and some of well known names are -
1. Lakshmi Niwas Mittal also known as steel king because as per news world’s ten percent steel productions are generated by Lakshmi Niwas Mittal’s group companies.
2. Tata Group -The Tata Group Companies is one of India's oldest, largest and most respected business empires. The Group's businesses are spread over seven business sectors. It comprises of 96 companies and operates in six continents. There are some 2, 46,000 employees and put together it has a shareholder base of over two million and market capitalization of $57.6 billion. Chairman Ratan Tata recently was in news because Tata Motors manufacturer world’s cheapest car by name Neno and it has hit the road at the launch of Neno Car it attract not only Indian but other countries also shown great interest in it.
3. Bharati Airtel –Indian’s one of the leading and well known telecommunications brand which after establishing successfully in India now looking and entering in the overseas markets of Sri Lanka and South Africa.
4. Reliance Group – After the death of its founder Dhirubhai Amabni it is divided into two groups and headed by Mukesh Amabni and Anil Amabni but still both groups companies at individual level name to be reckon in the world of corporate of India.
Information Technology – India have registered tremendous growth in the field of information technology and have very good well establish and world renowned brand name of Information technology like Infosys, Patni, TCS, Satyam and Wipro to name some.
Cricket – In World’s sports arena if India surprisingly shine then it is without any doubt and controversy the name of the game is Cricket and India have gradually showing dominance in Cricket’s lot of department like administration, financially, players and recently held season 2: T20 Tournament in South Africa it was equally participated by international players and they paid heavily, so whenever and wherever India is Involve in Cricket it touches new height with huge rush of viewers in stadium, Television Broadcasters dyeing to get rights, it all earn Indian cricket lot of respect among World’s Cricket community .
Film Industries – better known as Bollywood and right now in India in a year maximum numbers of films produced in different languages but it’s flagship is Hindi film industry which now attracting lot of western community and they become successful over here also, it’s recent example is Slumdog Millionaire which get appreciation throughout world last year and bagged countless prizes and awards in world’s almost every Film Festival.
On Independence Day we salute our great leaders, freedom fighters and martyrs for their sacrifices’ and because of them only we the Indian are moving ahead and leaving our marks of success in the world, do remember them through below coded lines –
