From decades Indian Film Industry commonly known as Bollywood have attractions towards Cricket and after victory at the Lords in 1984 led by Mr.Kapil Dev against invincible West Indies Cricket team craze of Cricket crosses all limits among Indian and gradually now Cricketers become idols of Indian public and Cricket become just like religion, bollywood which is top most source of entertainment along with Cricket in India gel together with the announcement of Indian Premier League by Board of Control for Cricket in India (B.C.C.I.) in the year 2008 which was based on the pattern of English Premier league because seeing India’s one of the Industrialist Group by name Essel Group declared begin of Indian Cricket League (I.C.L.) T20 Tournament having players from all around Cricket playing nations which had budding players, retired players and current players who took retirement to play the I.C.L. tournament, but to stop the flow into I.C.L. and before I.C.L. become famous with its influence on the International Cricket Council (I.C.C.) Board of Control for Cricket in India able to succeed I.C.C. give tag of rebel to Indian Cricket League and not recognise any of it’s matches plus players who play for I.C.L. will never ever get chance to play domestic or international cricket for their respective country and I.C.C.’s all the members Countries took pledge to bound with these terms but I.C.L. had two successful seasons which give exposures to the budding cricketers and as now I.C.L. is no more in existence and players of I.C.L. get immunity to play again for their countries domestic and international Cricket Tournaments.
In the year 2008 Board of Control for Cricket in India (B.C.C.I.) announced start of Indian Premier League which will host T20 Tournament having players from across the globe which will pick by franchise, in auction start from their reserve price set by committee and in a team only four foreign players along with seven Indian players allowed to play a game. So out of eight franchisees’ Owners Four are from Bollywood and they have not only pump money but also give time during tournament and right now IPL have two season and all the actors were seen during tournament backing up their teams players and some days back there was news that IPL chairman Mr.Lalit Modi considering to add two more team in the IPL Season four and whisper are perhaps they will name as Kochi and Nagpur and franchise of these team will be awarded to group or individual after auction and the cost will be 200 to 300 Million Dollars and activities by groups and individual begins and they start meeting the chairman Mr.Lalit Modi to get the detail. Two more actors shown interest to have ownership of team and they are Mr.Salman Khan and Ajay Dewgan and they met Mr.Lalit Modi in Mumbai and while talking to media persons Mr.Lalit Modi said yes both met him and shown interest to have ownership of team and they are informed the cost to have team which would be around 200 to 300 million Dollars and plus they will be awarded through transparent manner which is auction and depending on the terms if they will meet can be proud owner of IPL season 4 Team and the number of teams will surely be increase to ten from eight in 2011.
