Limca Book of Records

     In the year 1990, on the pattern of “Guinness Book of World Records” world’s pioneer to have records of all kinds by living beings like sports, amazing, bizarre, human body, travel & transport, science and natural world to name a few categories, and its open to anybody and everybody to make a record whether it is an institution, individual or group; Limca Book of Records is indigenous edition which contains records made by Indians in any field, the major difference between both the records book is that Guinness Book of World Records comprises records made across the globe where as Limca Book of Records started for the records made by Indians. This book does more than simply feature records; it encourages others to break the records. Mr. Ramesh Babu (have 39 records since 1991) gets special gesture with 2 tickets for the FIFA World Cup 2010, Finals to be played in South Africa on July 11th, 2010. In the year 2010 it has plans to organise 'Limca Book of Records Quiz 2010' in 3,500 schools across 100 cities in India.
 How to proceed –

• Assess your ability to create a record or break, you should be creative, don't limit yourself to what is already in the book as you may also be in the book by being the first person to do something.
• Do make contact with team of LBR with your idea that you want to set a new record or want to break record which already exist in their book as it has to be approve by LBR team, their snail mail address is –

• Until you receive any intimation from LBR, keep on doing hard practice as practice makes a perfect, so that your first attempt gives you success and desire results.
• Then you need to send documents of record-breaking or record-setting feat to the Limca Book of Records, along with it do send two letters of records making /breaking activity, which should must be accompany with photos/video/newspaper any one will work.
• LBR will send information if your record attempt as per norms of LBR and will include your record in the LBR.
• Don’t frustrated if you failure as there is saying

• Record of any magnitude will include in LBR but if they are dangerous and accepted, then these will included with disclaimer in the book, but records which involve hurting or killing other creatures are liable for rejection.
