Sport of Cricket’s money spinner and most lucrative Indian Premier League(IPL) which has just two season under its belt, yesterday kick start its activity for IPL: Season III by auction of sixty seven players from all the test playing countries and few players from associate members countries of International Cricket Council (ICC), but because all the franchise owners had few slot vacate to fill of foreign players, thus IPL franchises entitle to buy only 12 cricketers which include the one who have returned from the Indian Cricket League (ICL),and it was believe that they will go for players which would be available throughout tournament and will get clearance to play the tournament which can become problem for Pakistani players, these players will have one year contract for both IPL and Champions League Twenty20 that will be till December 31, 2010.
Before the start of auction, IPL management had added clause relating to end deadlock if more then one franchise keep on bidding for any player then cap at 7,50,000 US$ will play its role and bidding franchises’ will bid secretly for the player but player will get only 7,50,000 US$ and above amount will go to the IPL plus successful bidding amount wont make public ever and it will remain secret.
