Indian Cricket & Sachin Tendulkar

India played first cricket series after independence against Australia in the year 1948 and Australia won the five match series 4-0, but till date no other Indian cricket player gets so much media focus as Sachin Tendulkar and the way Indian electronics media covers any Indian game it appears that cricket is individual game not a team game as performance of any other players often over shadow by Sachin Tendulkar. Despite in the game ten other players also represent the country and to win any game team need to perform in all the three departments of the game by name batting, bowling and fielding. Now as Sachin has scored ninety nine international hundreds and every game media is giving importance and hype to his hundredth hundred since India’s tour of England started this year in which tour had five test matches, five ODI and one T20 and now West Indies cricket team is in India to play three test matches and five ODI and one T20, but in England not only India played pathetically but even Sachin Tendulkar was flopped badly and it was one of the worst India’s tour of England, and during test match series against West Indies in India he again fails to score hundred.
