Controversial Statements

In a democracy, political party’s leaders suppose to use words at all forms whether on records or off records, which are of civilize society, and they should not be by any means derogatory even for his opponents, but unfortunately in recent time our leaders are using words which should never be used by a person for another person and they use these words or have given statements or express in front of media which later on becomes reason of debate among all the sections of society, shocking side of this story is that these statements are coming not from single part leaders but all the party’s leaders whether it is regional or national party, everybody are coloured in this uncivilized tone of words and off and on statements by different party’s leaders become highlight and it hang the head down in shame of every citizen of this country as leaders are in charge of country and there activities, actions and statements covers by not only national media but also by international media, so considering this our leaders should choose there words while expressing anything rather it will be great if some restriction or limits put on them while using there words or statements. In recent times statements which make uproar in the country express by our leader’s are-
  • Mr. Dig Vijay Singh, Leader of Indian National Congress, comes to limelight because of his controversial statement in the media that Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS) Chief Mr. Hemant Karkare martyr of 26/11 terrorist attack, had phone him one hour before the encounter that he has threat of his life from with in country, but it is shocking to know that he made statement after passing the period of more then two years, and he is giving statement which raises’ suspicion on the martyrdom of Mr. Karkare, while responding to Mr. Dig Vijay statement, Kavita Karkare wife of late Hemant Karkare said that she has no information that her husband ever said to anybody that he had threat of his life from anybody and if Mr. Dig Vijay Singh is saying then she has no clue why he is saying so and if it is true of false or have any political means. I don’t have to say anything in response to it.26/11 was one of the worst terrorist’s activities India has ever faced and to make the issue politicize by any leader by any mean they are raising doubts in the mind of common public or any individual.
  • Mr. Shivraj Chauhan, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, latest link in the list of leaders, who have given controversial statements while talking to media persons, Mr. Chauhan said that there is no need of upper house (Rajya Sabha) in the country, as this set up was started in the country by the British Ruler and now it has no more significance so there is necessity to rethink on to the existence of Rajya Sabha. It was constitute to give intellectuals, artists or other respective personalities in the country to represent parliaments, but now it is misuse by industrialists or political parties to send there representatives in the house. Mr. Chauhan can be correct but only up to some extent as having two houses it works as checks and balances, but with his statement Mr. Chauhan straight way challenge to the constitution of this country. Later on his party makes distance from his statement and declared its individual view and not necessarily party is agree with it.
  • Few times ago while talking to media persons in Chandigarh, current president of BJP Mr. Nitin Gadkari, calls another regional party president with derogatory words, then later on he said he was not mean to call any body with such words, its media which has present mine words with controversial angel, but despite his clarification it did not calm down concerned leader and he said in response to that statement I shall tell him where I stand against his statement.
  • BJP spokesperson while responding on to the statement of Indian National Congress Leader said that Indian National Congress party leader has lost his balance of mind, he needs immediate doctor help and this said while talking to media, here both the statement by different parties leaders are controversial and derogatory as this will not send right signals in the minds of common people for their leaders. Being public figures it is the responsibilities of leaders to remain in the hood of civilize words.
