ATM Facility at Postal Department

Postal department of the country due to lack of adopting technology in its services’ loosing customers to banks, which are using technology at its full capacity hence not only it help banks to reduce the rush at their premises but it also help them in less time consuming for every customers with efficiently, effectively and rapid services. Postal department which already have big dent in their postage stamps business due to internet, now ready to compete with banks and soon before the end of this year in Punjab it is going to install 22 ATM’s at head quarters and for this spots are finalise. It will help customers to withdraw money from their accounts as per there necessities at any time of the day, as right now they have to visit during working hours at the postal department offices’ to withdraw money and stand in queues for their number to come which some times take very long time. As per words of postal officials work is completed of first phase and hopefully before the end of this year ATM’s will start works. Location which will get ATM’s facilities at their premises are –

and for the second phase of ATM facilities which will be available at sub post offices’ of the state work is already started by upgrading hi tech sub post offices’. It will help both customers to withdraw money quickly without office hours and it will also help to reduce rush at postal premises’. Once the ATM facility started officers believes it will shoot their business as right now withdrawing money customers are dependent only on banks ATM’s.
   As per postal department from ATM’s account holders will be entitle to withdraw money in a day of 10,000 rupees and only four times a day they can use ATM but after fourth withdrawal they are entitle for nominal service fees, account holders can use ATM cards for shopping also.
   Hopefully at the end of his year postal departments account holders will be able to start using ATM for money withdrawal and shopping as per their necessities no need to rush during working hours or without any tension even on holidays. So it will increase customers list of postal department and also improve their services’.
