Scam !

      For better future career wise students in India opt to study in the institutions/colleges’/ Universities which are widely accepted in lot of countries, this way they reduce the burden in the era of stiff competition from their mind and shoulders of successful and prosperous time ahead in their lives, and at the same time study is becoming very costly but still list of today’s generation to study in the institutes are increasing from India to other countries also especially in Australia, U.K. and U.S.A. where after completing courses’ not only they get job but they get many fold higher remunerations then India.
      Now Students are looking other countries as destination to study other then Australia because of racial attacks which started on Indian students from May 2009 onwards and till date continue and shocking angle of these attacks are that Australian authority not ready to accept the nature of these attacks are racial and neither they arrest any person relating to these arracks nor they give proper security to Indian students, so Australia start loosing its shine among Indian students and as per news this year downfall of fifty percent registered of Indian students.
     Britain which was not favorite destination as study suddenly become education attraction hub among Indian students because of attacks in Australia and more over Britain authority also take this opportunity as golden chance to woo Indian students and they become lenient and liberalise their student category visa’s, from last year onwards number increases’ in many times of Indian students they get admission in different institutions of Britain. As per news that Indian travel agents misuse visa’s lenient norms and send lot of young men which were bogus students to Britain and in this scam Britain’s education institutions are also involve. Taking immediate steps on to the scam British authority cancel the licenses of such tainted institutions which are as per rough estimates close to one hundred and fifty along with it they stop issuing student visa’s to the residents of north India with immediate effect. Travel agents action to earn money through undeserving person who are by no mean students to get admission in the educational institutions and then visa of U.K. has closed the door for genuine students to get student visa of Britain or study in Britain. The reason gave by Deputy High Commissioner of U.K. in India Mr. Nigel kessey and U.K. Border Agencies Regional Manager Mr. Charlie Mulley while talking to media persons in a press conference which was held in Chandigarh yesterday said stopping of issuing visa’s to north Indian states students because there is suddenly jump in the student visa seeker from north India whose detail is below coded –

• Till December 2007 total 1200 students visa aspirants
• December 2008 number of students were 1800
• Till December 2009 total students applicant were 13,500

and as per figures available in the month of January 2010 it touches’ the figure of 1,000 in a single day, this they consider might be because of racial attacks on Indian in Australia or misleading guidance to the students by travel agents but right now they think it is because of lenient norms of Britain which are misuse by travel agents, and temporarily they have stop issuing visa’s to north Indian students from Punjab, Delhi and Haryana along with these states Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan states also included and countries like Bangladesh and Nepal are also in the black list and if they found institutions of Britain are also tainted then their licenses’ would be cancel permanently and authority think that to earn hefty money institutions gave admission to students, but they added all the other categories of visa’s will continue barring student visa until and unless enquire is on. When somebody from media raise question of those students who have submitted fees but institutions license are cancel both were unable to give any satisfactory reply, then when one more media person add further that will they get their fees back? The answer was brief it should be but what is the situation they cannot say.
      Travel Agents always try to earn money when ever any country liberalise their visa for any category but unfortunately travel agents send bulk of persons who are not deserving/eligible. It alert the concerned country and they immediately stick the terms/norms which left severely helpless genuine persons .It is the need of the time that Government’s concerned authority should handle these agents with strong action so that deserving persons should not face any problem and our country also not get bad name and tainted by the action of handful of money minded persons.
