Wind of Change

One of India’s national party Bhartiyeh Janta Party (B.J.P.), had gone through lot of crisis after the competition of 15th Loksabha election and the voices’ of rebellion heard on daily basis against party President by their senior leaders and lot of experts starts making assessment on to the situation and come up with conclusion that either crisis in B.J.P. will end with expulsion of senior leaders or they will leave the party as Uma Bharti former B.J.P. leader did in the past and make her party Bhartiya Janshakti Party (B.J.P.) or their will change in the parties organisation structure, anti parties voices’ comes to an end with expulsion of Mr. Jaswant Singh and also with change in the party organisation President from Mr. Rajnath to Mr. Nitin Gadkari, but the way on daily basis statements were released by party leaders it was appearing that it will take very long time, hard work and dedication from party leaders and members to clean murky pictures of party from the mind of common people of this country. Mr. Gadkari after becoming party president took some below mentioned decisions which are self explanatory and indicate now where party is heading –
  • From 25th November,2009 to 18th December,2009 in five phases election were held for Jharkhand state assembly and people’s mandate were for hung assembly as no party or alliance was in position to form the government which is visible from party and alliance position –

in surprise move Mr. Nitin Gadkari while giving rest to speculations about the picture and formation of government of Jharkhand State Assembly support to JMM party and clear the obstacles which were in the way of Shibu Saren to become Chief Minister.

  • In Maharashtra State B.J.P. is alliance party of Shiv Sena and both parties contest every elections mutually on seat sharing basis, just few months before the state assembly elections which held in the month of October,2009, Shiv Sena starts campaign of violent protests which till date are continue but more aggressively, despite alliance defeat in election, shocking part of their hatred and society division protests is that whoever dare to speak against Party ideology, leaders or workers words or action become party workers target until and unless concerned not apologies from party leader and recently they are protesting and speaking against anybody of Mumbaiker who criticise parties stand of protection of Marathi’s from outsider of Maharashtra state especially in Mumbai and parties stand is that they are against the policies of giving outsider facilities, advantages and benefits equivalent to Marathi’s. Despite being alliance party of Shiv Sena local leaders while speaking on behalf of B.J.P. said party is against the ideology of such movements and from Kashmir to Kanya Kumari India is one and every citizen of this country have right to live any where in the country ,so party does not agree with their alliance partner.
  • In Punjab state B.J.P. is alliance partner of Sharomani Akali Dal (S.A.D.) and their alliance is almost two decades old in Punjab and during this time they have rule once and presently alliance is in second term of rule in the state but now some action and policies of government opposed by B.J.P. leaders and they said because of policies of government ,party is loosing their urban base, which was seen in the Loksabha election so now they will oppose anti urban policies which is party base, subsidies given to the rural on the behest of urban and industrialists will not be acceptable .It is seen when B.J.P. party leaders protest openly on to the revision of electricity rates which was recommended by Punjab State Regulatory Commission recently but government fail to implement because of B.J.P. pressure as it was direct burden on urban consumers but government bias on rural consumers with benefits of subsidies as before. B.J.P. leaders said either government role back of increase prices or give subsidies to urban consumer also.
  • Just results declared of Madhya Pradesh civic body polls where B.J.P. is running the government and first time B.J.P. have given tickets to 119 Muslim candidates and eighty two won election and surprisingly twenty six are women who wear masque and as some results yet to declared of the civic body poll and experts believe it wont be surprise if figures of winning candidates cross the mark of hundred and total number of M.P. civic body areas are 5059.
Mr. Nitin Gadkari after taking charge of president of B.J.P. have taken steps and actions which is different from his predecessors and one cannot say that it will be successful in coming days and turn them into victory in assemblies and Loksabha elections and his working style is visible when he don’t like action of alliance he openly oppose it through local leaders and now first time party had given tickets in large numbers to Muslim candidates which in the past party was considered as Hindu Party.
