Adulteration: uncontrollable Demon?

      With the entry of private players in the sector of electronics media, people of this country join the world, which have access of uninterrupted, best quality, 24 x 7 and 365 days of broadcast. Every category of channels have their attractions among different age groups of audience, whether it is movie, sports, cartoon,, music, news, animal kingdom, drama or news, but the way news channels try to look different from the glut of competitor news channels, they often cross their limits which instead of creating awareness among people left them with scary feelings, and adulteration in the eatable food items, is one of such programme, news channels are making programmes having adulteration as their contents since last year’s Diwali festival.
    Last year around Diwali festival, news channels exposed synthetic Milk, Cheese, Khoya which goes into making different kinds of score of Indian sweets, authority raided across country premises of several confectionary shops and seize tons of synthetic Khoya and Cheese, but it was not enough and believed seize synthetic quantity was merely around ten percent and across country still lot of sweet shops were producing sweets with synthetic stuff so even government on media alert common people to avoid eating sweets made of cheese or Khoya, result of this people escape to eat such sweets and sale of sweets during festival season registered drastic fall.
    News Channels inspire from synthetic Khoya and cheese success, come up with programmes based on adulterations, on an average fortnight basis, till date it is continue on different news channels, and eatable items with adulteration material or produce synthetically, sold in the country they have exposed , were horrifying revelations as from all the kitchen items like pulses, rice, spices, milk, sugar, mineral water; to fruits, everything contains either synthetic material or chemically produce and both type of adulteration are dangerous and harmful for human beings whose continues usage leads human to fatal diseases or even death, shocking part of this saga was that government silently watching this practice to grow for years and allowed money minded traders not only to earn huge money but also play with the health of innocent people of this country. Thus common people of this country starts believing that whatever eatable available in the markets are slow poison, which they have to use, and can’t run away without using it, ultimately has to become victim of diseases’.
    Yesterday in the evening, I was surfing channels, two news channels simultaneously telecasting the programme based on adulteration, during prime time mean it is the time when every member of the family watch programme, but what it will leave impact on all the members hard to express in words, and Channels were revealing adulteration in milk, sugar and fruits, while watching these programmes I was thinking what is the purpose of these programmes to alert common people, to horrify common people or expose failure of government machinery?
    It is the responsibility of the government to provide pure eatable items to the public and if it fails then there is certainly something wrong in government concerned department, either they are not serving their duties seriously or they have taken bribe from these inhumane traders and closed their eyes towards them, so if they cant do anything then they should issue notice to channels to stop broadcasting adulteration based programme at prime time, so that innocent people avoid from scary feelings while using food items or take stringent action against these killer or immediately implement Food Standard & Security Act, so that public can eat essential food items without any fear in their mind.
