Cruel Travel Agents

      Northern part of India is crazy for foreign Countries, especially Punjab, and they can go up to any extent to go abroad whether it is legal or illegal it hardly matters for them, despite knowing that illegal stay in any country not only risk of life but also exploited at the time of getting any job as employers knows the status and hire them without papers and with less salary. Travel Agents, whenever any country, lenient towards some categories, they find this offer as golden opportunities to send phoney applicants and earn huge money at the risk of innocent and hard working youth, who are not sure what will happen to them once they land in the unknown country?
     Although Indian Government has given license to travel agents who are authorize to send aspiring migrants, whenever demand generate in any country, their concern authority pass on their requirements with full details like validity of work permit, salary, eligibility, but license holders hand over offers to these so called agents to earn many fold money from aspiring Punjabi persons, as they willing to go abroad at any cost because in their vision other countries are much more lucrative to work and earn money then India, and then they trap in the clutches of travel agents.
     Every countries offer, mesmerize Travel Agents and they often utilize it by sending huge numbers of bogus candidates like student category, information technology, tourists, work permit, Permanent Residency are few categories to name here and glut of illegal were sent by travel agents. Once youth reach the country and came to know and face the hard reality, then they realize that they were cheated, and they request their kin to get them out from trap. This practice is going on from years in India without any government control and whenever any mishap happen then voices raises against these travel agents like –

• Malta incident is worst in the history of illegal migrants when a boat carrying score of Punjabi’s, capsize, it shock everybody back in India that how travel agents are playing with the lives of innocent youth, despite taking huge money from them, their journey are not safe and sound.

     As per news, recently in Punjab, three members of travel agents were arrested by the authorities, who are accused of sending youth by making false documents under student category. With the action there is panic among such travel agents who were sending bogus students, as per information travel agents who send youth under student category, mastermind are behind the curtain, police has yet to reach near them and arrested were only tip of the iceberg. Chances are big fish are also involve in this practice, but with the arrest of three persons they can be next target, shocking part of their practice is that they make C.A. of tenth pass and now hundred are stranded in Georgia, Malta, Poland and they were send to these countries after lakhs of rupees money changed hands.
     Time has come for government to make stringent law against these travel agents and save youth from exploiting, otherwise they will keep on playing with the lives and future of innocent youth, because in this regard if anybody has to be blame then they are travel agents as youth proceed to any country with dreams in their eyes created by travel agents of good future, but find themselves directionless after they put their feet on the soil of another country.
