Today is era of globalization and in the environment of stiff competition lot of companies are in the market selling there products or in other words there is surplus supply/availability of every goods and to attract customer to purchase there product, appear different from the lot companies are offering lot of schemes, discounts and prizes. This marketing strategy ofcourse is successful upto some extent and companies able to place there name and products on the mind of coustomer, but alongwith it taking wrong advantage of this marketing a new concept born to exploit and sell product to consumer by giving attractive offers which infect plan to trap costumer to sell product and in the end consumer find himself cleverly exploited by seller. No doubt law exit but this is executed so smartly by the seller that they left no clue behind for the authority .Below is detail of such a gang who is operating in Punjab now a days
Be alert if someone call you on your landline and give offer you to take advantage of scheme just being lucky winner of there companies promotional scheme or salesman ring the doorbell and comes up with option of lucky draw alongwith product. This can be part of unique style of loot you through telemarketing. Of late in the state this type of bazaar is spreading very fast. Part of this loot bazaar on Monday they rob hundred of houses in some part of Ludhiana.Some alert residents hold salesman and try to snatch his goods but salesman manage to escape/run away, company management accused people of beating salesman and said case registered on the people. Operator of loot market have both customer’s telephone number and home address which are going to victim of there selling, and they collected the detail from Telephone directory. Either there salesman call you on phone and declared you winner or personally appear your home, basically these robber have two way of looting consumer either through door to door selling or telemarketing.
There will be call on your mobile or base phone from multinational company first letter mean adding first word from its salesman. He will tell you a story that we get your phone number from where you use to do regular shopping and as you are using companies products from very long now company has pick you for exclusive or smart shopping, there you will get 15 to 40 percent of discount, to avail this discount either you have to come to show room or executive will make contact with you. Salesman visit your house and make you part of coconut break scheme, and customer will get 200 rupees gift on 50 rupees. Then you offer a plastic coconut to break, and then you get plastic coin with very heavy discount. The number printed on the coin is your discount, alongwith it you are handed over with a yellow colour coupon which contains dozen of electronics items which are in the price range from five to fifty thousand rupees and company salesman told you discount of somewhere from 10 to 40 percent, but real picture emerge clear when you visit mentioned showroom by salesman. Customer found himself robbed when he get no discount instead some clarification from the showroom, when customer complaints there he asked to read the term written on yellow colour coupon. In this yellow coupon there is clearly written that salesman told scheme/stuff does not apply.
So when any salesman visit your house after telephone or door to door marketing do keep in mind below mentioned things to avoid and not purchase
• Written backside of yellow coupon and certificate of salesman don’t believe on anything of this salesman, when company has no believe on salesman then how you can believe.
• Written on the coupon to know the detail of scheme enquire on to above coded phone number and once you phone then your number store on to there set and then without order you keep on getting goods, when argued or denying, customer black mail by showing his call’s feed time.
• These type of marketing companies to have your faith demand of cheques/DD,but when company suddenly disappear then photocopy of your DD/Cheques become useless to tally with record.
As now a days its coded that customer is king because he has option to pick best from available but stiff competition in the market and from seller false commitments make him sometimes victim of loot, so it’s the best for user to read and examine the offer before buying anything
