Today is Mahashivaratri and across country peoples are
celebrating the festival with great fervor and joy, on this day in every part
of the country Shivalyas ( Lord Shiva Temple) becomes magnet for lord Shiva
devotees. Mahashivaratri is celebrated every year on the 13th night/14th day of
the Maagha or Phalguna month of Hindu calendar and as per most popular legends
of Mahshivaratri is related to the marriage of Shiva and Shakti. The day Lord
Shiva got married to Parvati is celebrated as Shivratri - the Night of Lord
Shiva. Almighty Lord Shiva prosperous every life of this globe, Happy Mahashivaratri
to everybody !
