Of late for human beings in this materialistic world money becomes top of the list to fulfill their all the necessities and to earn money they are trying to use shortcut ways but with inhumane activities which is certainly a shocking issue for society, just yesterday three stories published in the newspaper which endorse our issue and human mentality to earn money by unfair means – 

•  Kulwinder Singh, resident of Italy, comes to India at his hometown which is situated at Sohal, Gurdaspur but with a motive to get 25 million rupees from his insurance company through his wife who also lives with him in Italy, by declaring himself dead. As per reports police found few days back a car having number PB 08 R 0155 registered under the name of  Kulwinder Singh s/o Raghubir Singh r/o Sohal presently living in Italy, it was fully burn along with they found dead body in the car, later on after investigation dead body was identify as Kuljit Singh but case become complex when police found Kuljit’s scooter standing near Canal of the local area, police arrested two persons in this case by name Jageer Singh and Sham Lal and they accepted that Kulwinder Singh had insurance of 25 million rupees in Italy and he wants to get the amount from insurance company through his wife after declaring himself dead in India and for this Kulwinder Singh replace himself with Kuljit Singh by calling at his house and later on three of them killed him and put him in the car which was found by police at GT road, when they reached the spot their they put petrol on to the car and on to the dead body of Kuljit Singh and set the car on fire but due to half burn Kuljit’s boot and  his duplicate set of teeth foil Kulwinder Singh’s plot to announced himself dead and get insurance money from the company, now police has alert country’s all airports so that Kulwinder Singh can’t flee India. 
•  In Phagwara, during broad daylight, three mask persons arrived at the NRI Gurbinder Singh (France) house in Phagwara in the morning when his wife was lonely in the house, they knocked the door and asked about Gurvinder Singh, instead of getting  response  of Ranjit Kaur they push her and entered the house and asked her to give them cash and other costly stuff lying in the house but Ranjit Kaur reject their demand then one of them slap her and threat they will kill her if she wont tell her about the gold and cash, Ranjit Kaur scared and hand over them keys of Almirah in which one kilogram of gold, ten thousand Euros and 50,000 Indian Rupees were kept along with other costly stuff they run away from the house of Gurbinder Singh, case registered but till date no arrest was made by police in this regard. 
•  On the complaint of Baljinder Singh, police registered case against four persons of Zirakpur. His complaint was that Jasbir Singh along with three other persons have cheated him of rupees fifty five lakhs on sale of land. On 30^th April,2012 Baljinder Singh had agreement with Jasbir Singh owner of 9 kilas, 3 kanals and 13 Marlas land @ 24.65 Lakhs per Kilas,  was settled between both the parties, but when on fix date Baljinder Singh reached the government office for registry of mentioned land, Jasbir Singh does not arrive, when Baljinder made contact with him and talk about his absence on mentioned day, he threat him and have not given any positive response for sale of aforesaid land, so this way Baljinder and his three friends has cheated Jasbir Singh of Rupees 5.5 million.

By reading above stories it appears that Money is everything in our lives, no doubt without money its really very hard to move towards any direction successfully, but at the same time money is not everything and giving money so much importance it is harmful for the society and its result will degrade human values.
